50th Anniversary Celebration of the Archives of the Big Bend
The evening is hosted and sponsored by Historic Alpine, Inc. and coincides with Alpine’s participation in the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street program, highlighting the region’s place within a national conversation about history, culture, and community identity.
The celebration will recognize the archivists, donors, volunteers, scholars, and community members who have contributed to the Archives over the past fifty years, as well as the vital role the Archives continue to play in education, research, historic preservation, and civic life throughout the Big Bend.
Parking FYI: Folks attending Friday's shindig are welcome to park anywhere on campus for free during the event. Folks with accessibility needs should plan to park in the circle drive at Entrance 3 (Sul Ross Avenue).
